To modify this, to make it look a little more fooling... Here are some tips.

Name the created folder on your desktop to be anything you want, but remember that name.

The lock batch file could be named . For example; like this

"ren Control..Panel Control..Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}"

whereas 'ren' means rename, The first 'Control..Panel' is directed to the folder. The second 'Control..Panel' is what it will be renamed to. The jumbo in the brackets is the regedit code that switches the purpose of the folder.

In the Key folder ...

"ren Control..Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} Control..Panel"

This code renames the Control panel icon to the open-able folder.

The batch files can be renamed as you like.

Enjoy

Mr.Joe W,U could make this even more fooling by replacing those two dots b/w control panel with space & using inverted commas like this-----ren "control panel".{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} "control panel"and for key.bat-----ren "control panel" "control panel".{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}.I've to use inverted commas as I've included space in the folder name.this will enable OS to identify "control panel" as complete file name

THANK YOU

hey,
this was a nice trick but,
in this
"ren folder folder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}"
what is the significance of
{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}

can we change it to some other code to open some other directory

This is really good. I must appreciate. But can this process be applied to a folder whose name is not 'folder'? If that can be done, then please bring that here.
